Portrait de davethebrave

I was born on occupied Kosampson land, lived most of my life on occupied Whyomilth and Teechamitsa land, and shortly before moving to occupied Haudenosaunee land, I lived briefly on occupied Swengwhung land. I'm strongly anti-authoritarian and anti-capitalist (anti-oppression and anti-kyriarchy in general, really). I have a degree in Political Science from the Ivory Tower that has never done me any good. I have strong desires to let this world be a better place, and stop making it what we think is best. "Making the world a better place" already assumes a lot of unjustified authority on the part of human beings. The world's already the best place, we just keep muckin' it up. I'm big on muckin' up the muck-ups of this world.

About the Sudbury Working Group

The Sudbury working-group of The Media Co-op was formed to create independent media in the North, to speak to our issues and outlooks on our communities as well as the world around us. Independent media provides an avenue for people who are wishing to gain critical perspective on the issues that matter most to us, and to give a voice to those people and stories that you won't find in the mainstream media.
